Health Care
Students of TEI are provided with medical care from doctors of all specialties, affiliated with TEI, and hospital care from public hospitals, at the headquarters of TEI. In urgent situations, the student may be hospitalized in public hospitals away from TEI. He or she may be hospitalized in a private clinic, when the State certifies that lacks care option. Right of issuing student health booklet have all students who have no other form of public insurance coverage from their parents. The duration of healthcare is as the semesters plus one half.

Student Bulletin Ticket
The student bulletin ticket is given to all students immediately after registering for their movements with urban and interurban transportation and with a right of deduction applied on the normal ticket price. Not eligible for ticket bulletin are students who entered the department after the classification for acquiring another degree, those who exceeded the 12th semester and those who temporarily interrupted their studies.
At the beginning of each academic year students are provided with new student ticket bulletins, which apply throughout the academic year and does not need special review for the summer months. The ticket bulletins are reviewed by the secretary of the department. The bulletin is personal and can’t be use by no one else than the recipient. The benefit stops when the recipient is recruited and for as long as the military commitment lasts or when they graduate.
